Hopefully this helps you bring a taste of Mangia home even while our doors are closed. We'd love to see you post pictures and reviews of your creations to our Facebook page :)\n\n## Ingredients\n\n2 SERVINGS Kosher salt\n\n6 oz. pasta (such as egg tagliolini, bucatini, or spaghetti)\n\n3 Tbsp. unsalted butter, cubed, divided\n\n1 tsp. freshly cracked black pepper\n\n¾ cup finely grated Grana Padano or Parmesan\n\n⅓ cup finely grated Pecorino\n\n## Preparation\n\n### Step 1\n\nBring 3 quarts water to a boil in a 5-qt. pot. Season with salt; add pasta and cook, stirring occasionally, until about 2 minutes before tender. Drain, reserving ¾ cup pasta cooking water.\n\n### Step 2\n\nMeanwhile, melt 2 Tbsp. butter in a large heavy skillet over medium heat. Add pepper and cook, swirling pan, until toasted, about 1 minute.\n\n### Step 3\n\nAdd ½ cup reserved pasta water to skillet and bring to a simmer. Add pasta and remaining butter. Reduce heat to low and add Grana Padano, stirring and tossing with tongs until melted. Remove pan from heat; add Pecorino, stirring and tossing until cheese melts, sauce coats the pasta, and pasta is al dente. (Add more pasta water if sauce seems dry.) Transfer pasta to warm bowls and serve.\n\n(Note: this recipe is from https://www.bonappetit.com/recipe/cacio-e-pepe)\n\nWe hope you enjoy :)","heroImage":"https://fisherman-staging.gumlet.io/public/mangiacucinabar/blog/14b3fddb-eebe-4937-bdff-4d80c71db694.jpg","seoTitle":"","seoDescription":"","seoOgTitle":null,"seoOgDescription":null,"seoOgImage":null,"gatsbyHeroImage":{"childImageSharp":{"gatsbyImageData":{"layout":"fullWidth","backgroundColor":"#c8c8b8","images":{"fallback":{"src":"/static/0b4fb7b7cc6e618404759701e1da60ac/5267c/14b3fddb-eebe-4937-bdff-4d80c71db694.jpg","srcSet":"/static/0b4fb7b7cc6e618404759701e1da60ac/7284f/14b3fddb-eebe-4937-bdff-4d80c71db694.jpg 750w,\n/static/0b4fb7b7cc6e618404759701e1da60ac/29ba9/14b3fddb-eebe-4937-bdff-4d80c71db694.jpg 1080w,\n/static/0b4fb7b7cc6e618404759701e1da60ac/2baac/14b3fddb-eebe-4937-bdff-4d80c71db694.jpg 1366w,\n/static/0b4fb7b7cc6e618404759701e1da60ac/5267c/14b3fddb-eebe-4937-bdff-4d80c71db694.jpg 1920w","sizes":"100vw"},"sources":[{"srcSet":"/static/0b4fb7b7cc6e618404759701e1da60ac/57584/14b3fddb-eebe-4937-bdff-4d80c71db694.webp 750w,\n/static/0b4fb7b7cc6e618404759701e1da60ac/984df/14b3fddb-eebe-4937-bdff-4d80c71db694.webp 1080w,\n/static/0b4fb7b7cc6e618404759701e1da60ac/1e947/14b3fddb-eebe-4937-bdff-4d80c71db694.webp 1366w,\n/static/0b4fb7b7cc6e618404759701e1da60ac/9c00f/14b3fddb-eebe-4937-bdff-4d80c71db694.webp 1920w","type":"image/webp","sizes":"100vw"}]},"width":1,"height":0.6666666666666666}}},"author":null,"publishedAt":"2021-04-28T13:38:40.631701Z","heroImageAltText":"","slug":"cacio-e-pepe-recipe"}},"pageContext":{"id":8,"blogRootSlug":"/blog/","slug":"cacio-e-pepe-recipe","templateProps":{},"postDestination":"Blog"}},
